We were sad to have to be heading home, but still were able to do some fun stuff on our way out. We first headed over to the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier. We were able to each have a headphone set so we could go at our own pace on the self guided tour. We were amazed at how well the kids did and how long they lasted. Pretty cool!

Thus was the post office. This guy was actually a real person. He scared us half to death when we walked by him.
After we finished our tour, the kids BEGGED to play at the beach one last time. It was already 2pm and we had a six hour drive ahead of us, but they won.
Steven thought he would bring a little snack (cheese crackers) to the beach and found out quickly that this was a mistake. He was surrounded by birds flying all around his head. I couldn't get my camera out fast enough and only got a picture which the birds watching him in hopes that he would drop a crumb. 
Kinley LOVED her freedom and was determined that she was gonna catch one of the seagulls!
