Kinley Dance/1st Bike Ride- Spring 2016

Our little Kinley is getting ready for her Spring Dance Show.  She had pictures last weekend and LOVED getting dressed up, especially the make up part! Smiles!!!
Cheese!!!

Posing for the camera.
And again!
She is a bundle of energy and personality. She never meets a stranger and in her world, energy one is her friend! We love her so much!

A few picture from her dress rehearsal.
Kinley is the only three year old in her class, but she did a pretty good job hanging with the older girls.
Making their circle.
Time for the bow (she is on the end, left side). So fun!

Well, her big show finally arrived. She did great and held her own.

Pre show pictures!
Her cousin Mankenzie helped get her a little more filled up.
Beautiful girls!
The boys had gotten her flowers for after the show.
She crashed in the car on the short Rudd home.  She had danced her little heart out!

Little did she know, this would also be her first day to ride her bike without its training wheels. Go Kinley!!!
She was SO proud of herself. Can't believe we now have all four kiddos independently able to ride their bikes. Another small graduation moment for us parents. Smiles!!!!

Father/Son Campout- April 23rd

Steven and the boys got a chance to get away for a little bit this past weekend.  With kayaks and tent in tow, they left early on Friday and headed out to Roosevelt Lake. We just got moved into a new ward, so there were lots of new faces and new adventures.  They explored the Indian cliff dwellings near their campsite, had a celebration of the priesthood fireside, kayaked on the lake and then kayaked some more. Sounded like some great memories were made!!
Happy boys!
what a beautiful backdrop!
Go Hunter!
Alton loves kayaking.
Love my boys!!!!
They had fun trying to walk on the slippery ramp. The are all boy!!!

View up near the cliff dwellings.
Exploring the rooms.
Alton and Hunter with our little friend, Ty Paddock.
Alton decides to lay down on the cold ground.
Wonder what this little area was originally used for?
Practicing their corn grounding skills.
Alton gives it a go too.
These look like some tired boys!!!!

Spring Break 2016

For Spring Break this year, we started off the week by going to the zoo. It was so fun to get to take the older kids with us (since they are always in school).
Happy Kinley!
Altee-boy!
Happy Hunter! On the tiger of course.
Kailyn & Mr. Elephant, our elephant girl!
At the new Tiger exhibit!  They wanted to take this for Steven.
Within 5 mins of getting to the zoo, Alton was already saying he just wanted to play and not see any of the animals. Really Alton? So silly! So for survival I got cotton candy and kettle corn. I felt like such a great mom filling them up with sugar. Smiles! Needless to say, they did not eat a real lunch this day.

we got the opportunity to head up to Utah to help celebrate Steven's grandma's 90th birthday. We left in the afternoon on Wednesday and made it all the way up to Kanab.  The next morning when we woke up it was 21 degrees! Burr! Our Arizona blood was not used to this.  We ate a quick breakfast and continued our journey up to Steven's parent's home in Taylorsville, Utah.
Alton's awesome hair!  He loves for us to spike it.
We got there at about noon.  We got to walk to the park next door and let the kids get some of their couped up energy out.
