Last Minute Summer Adventures

The week before school started we got to squeeze in a few last fun adventures. We went to the Children's museum of Phoenix.

Great friends (most of the time)!
Who wouldn't want to be in a flying bathtub?
Car wash anyone?
Cutie Kinley.
There was a room open that had this huge pink castle that the kids could paint. They had so much fun!
Kailyn our future artist!
Alton
Kinley
Alton was so focused!
I got my own little puppet show compliments of these fun kiddos.

This noodle maze was pretty fun.
Really Alton? Boys. I didn't even notice until we went back to look at the pictures later.
She was so proud to be taller than me.
Weighing out the peas at the supermarket.
Kinley finding stuff to fill up her shopping cart.
There was a sweet lady outside blowing bubbles for the kids.
Get it Kinley!
They had these fun scooter things out back.
This picture is totally Alton. Our free spirit,
Kailyn tries to show Kinley how to do it.
What a great big sister. We love these beautiful girls so much!
Alton came over to show Kinley some moves.
Kailyn is really good at the hoola hoop.
I think they were supposed to crawl inside of this work thing, but leave it to our kids to take the more adventurous option.
Oh man Hunter!

She is always making us laugh!

She is trying out dance for her first time.
She is doing really great and we hope she sticks with it!

Alton was being a little crazy man at the bike park. This was our sign that it was time to head home.

Had a fun first week of school FHE at Krazy Air (indoor trampoline awesomeness)!
Me trying to spidermom!
Looks like Kinley will be in there for awhile. Not sure how much help Alton was for her.
Kailyn trying her hand at the rope ladder.
Alton made it to the bell. Awesome!
Kinley wanted to be just like her siblings. It was a fun family night activity!

Pinewood Derby Time. Vroom!

Steven and Hunter started working on Hunter's first ever derby car.  They had a lot of fun practicing with the saw and sandpaper.  All that's left is pairing and weighing.  Hunter said he wants his car painted camouflage so that should be fun the figure out. Smiles!

Sept 12! The big day had finally arrived.  Let the racing begin!
Hunter was pretty excited about his first derby. They had the boys hold their cars on the plates so the black stuff from the wheels wouldn't get on their clothes.
Here he is running down to watch his car cross the finish.
Getting closer. He was really into it.
He practically slid into position just in the nick of time.
Wow! 1st place in that one. Sweet!!
Picking up "Ranger". He ended up getting 4th overall. Not bad for his first go around.

Alton Turns the Big 6 yo & Lose Teeth!!! (8/20/15)

We had fun this year celebrating Alton's big day! He got to take some yummy fruit roll up treats to share with his class and when he got off the bus he was wearing a birthday crown. So fun!  My sister and her family came over for a taco dinner (requested by Alton) and small birthday treat.
Opening up his new Lego underwear! Everything is awesome!
He LOVES them.
He also got a cool light up Lego fire station.
A an awesome light up motorcycle to go with it!  Wow!!!
We had a scavenger hunt to help him find his last gift.
ROLLER BLADES!!! He was the last one in the family without them, so now he just to join the ranks of learning how to use them.
Linley enjoyed the small treat. We also had a tiny cake for Alton that we all shared!

On Saturday, he had a fun swim party with about 12 of his friends.
This was the invite he chose to send out.
This is the interesting cake that we made. All of the wording melted. Sad!  Hunter helped put all the Lego pieces together to surprise Alton!
Just FYI, orange frosting is pretty hard to make.  Never did quite get it right!
Spraying down all the rascally boys on the trampoline.  They loved it!
This herbal ball thing was actually part of the slip n slide, but we couldn't get the second water hose to reach far enough, so Steven through it in the pool. It was a hit!
One of our neighbor Gil's came over to keep an eye on Kinley during the party. Such a huge help!
Making some yummy snow cones.
Alton thought a funny worn would really add awesomeness to his snow cone! He is always making us laugh or roll our eyes.
The girls were having lots of fun too!
Fun times on the slip n slide!
Happy Birthday to our awesome, amazing, adventurous Altonator!!! We sure love him!

Shorty after his birthday his teeth starting coming out.
First one is toast!
Perfect toothless picture.
Someone got my phone and took some selfies. Feeling around at his new tooth window.
Proud of his new smile!

And then the tooth next door took wings (just in time for Christmas).
