Hunter/Mom Date (5/14)

This past Friday, I took Hunter out of school to have a date with him. He had been begging me to take him hiking (just us two), so we went for it. We left the house around 6:30am and headed over to Camelback Mtn. He was so excited and I was thrilled to have a hikin' buddy!
He wasn't real excited about the cables, as you can tell. This is where he turned around last time.
Here is kind if a smile.
This is the second cable. He flew right up this one.
Making our way up and up.
He was trying to race the other hikers. He was cracking me up.
Success!  I don't think he could have smiled any bigger.

Afterwards, we headed over to the Golden Spoon yogurt shop for our treat. He had actually received an award at school for being honest, which came with a free ice cream, so we thought this would be a great time to cash it in.
Hunter is such an amazing kid. We had a blast on our date and great memories were made. I love him so much!

Scout Trip to thePost Office -3/14

One of my new jobs at church is to be one of the Cub Scout Wolf den leaders. These were pictures taken of our energetic boys (ages 8-9  yo).
Post master talking to us inside the facility. Everything was so organized!
Inside a mail truck. This was one of the boys' favorite parts!

Butterflies, Butterflies Everywhere! -3/14

We got the opportunity to head over to the fairly new Butterfly pavilion in Scottsdale with Alton's preschool. The kids had a great time!
Alton's preschool classmates.
Watching 3D IMAX movie about the monarch butterfly's migration. Very cool!
Inside the pyramid.
Hunter thought this was so cool!

Alton thought this was the coolest thing ever.
They loved Kailyn's flower!

Trying to pet the sting rays.

Random cuts pictures of Hunter & Kailyn helping me outside trimming one of our cacti.
I love their creativity. Kailyn made this flower band by slitting the cactus branch down the middle, putting her bow at the top and them placing it in her head. So fun!
Love these two sooooooo much!!!

Kailyn's End of the Year Dance Recital 2014

Kailyn had a run in with a round brush last weekend. Luckily cousin Kenzie was able to use oil  and it came out. Whew! When I was younger, I was not so lucky. My mom had to use scissors!
When thus happened, we were heading home in the car, but had to make a quick  stop at Michael's for Hunter school project. She was a trooper going in the store like this! She makes me laugh every day! I love her so much.

Dress rehearsal for her big show coming up.
One of her ending poses. She is on her knees in the center.
Hunter was so excited to give her the flowers.

Alton TBall 2014

Alton has been playing TBall for the past couple of months. It has been fun to see him grow and have fun with little friends his age. His team is called the Timber Rattlers! Go Alton!!!
He did not want me to take his picture.
Silly boy!
So cool!
He was pretty proud of his trophy. Fun memories!
