Hunter Scout-O-Rama/Broken Arm (2/28/15)

After I ran the marathon, Steven took the boys and headed over to Scout-O-Rama.  It looks like they had a blast!

What's gonna work, teamwork!
Hunter still had a broken arm in this picture (see below).
Angry bird sling shot. Alton was in heaven.

Boat races are the best!

BROKEN ARM ADVENTURE!

About 2 months ago, Hunter was at gymnastics and slipped off the rings.  He fell directly on his left shoulder/arm. The coaches said they saw him fall and made sure he could move it afterwards, so we figured it is not broken, especially because he was able to move it.  We helped him work thru the pain for two dad, but by the third day he still could not move it so we took him into an urgent care center and this is what they found.
Yikes!
Oh man, talk about feeling like a bad parent sitting on this for several days. They put him in a hard splint,
And told us to come back in two days to see an orthopedist. They could not cast him because of the place of the brake, so we were stuck with a silly sling that never stayed in place. It was very annoying and almost wish it could have just been casted somehow. It was a trial for Hunter to be so limited in his activities. After coming home from that initial appt I found him jumping on the trampoline with his sling on!!!  He just got cleared for full activities last week and boy is he ready to have his body in full functioning mode again.
Here is his final X-ray from his final appointment.  Whoo-hoooo!
