Easter 2015

This year for Easter, we went to a neighborhood Easter celebration at the park, had our own Easter egg hunt with Steven's brother, Brian (and his family), watched General Conference and took the kids to see the Mesa Easter Pageant.
Kinley wasn't so sure about the big bunny.
Kailyn loved it.
Kinley was so excited to ride the pony.  She is just getting into "My Little Pony", so this was right up her alley.
Kailyn had a blast too!
Agh, more sugar. Just what they needed, not. Making memories!
Kinley waiting patiently for her turn to get some eggs.
She loved the bubbles. She got the pink one in her basket and a blue one.
Now she is getting the hang of it.
Alton and Kailyn patiently waiting their turn as the scouts out out tons of egged firvtheirvshe group.
Kailyn (in the black leggings) doing great!
Alton wats harder to see.  He is in the red shirt behind the kid with the blue shirt.
Now it's Hunter's turn (in the blue "Texas" shirt).
Go Hunter!
Love this idea!
Easter cards from Grandma & Grandpa Mullin.  What a hit!
Here we were attempting to die eggs, but Kinley kept dropping them on the ground. Let's just say many of them were pretty colorful inside.

Planting our jelly beans to see if they will grow into lollipops.

Alton (of couse, holding his Pokemon cards).
Oh my goodness!  Who would have thought this would work!

Easter morning. They each got swimsuits, flip flops, and their own box of fruit snacks.

This was our family Easter egg hunter on Easter Sunday before conference. They had chocolate in them, so the hunting had to begin pretty early.

How grateful we are for the Easter time of year to give us a chance to reflect a little more on our Savior's great sacrifice and resurrection. I really enjoyed have General Conference on Easter weekend this year. It was like a never ending spiritual feast.
