Kinley - 5 Month Old

Wow, what a day! It started off with some sweet, good morning smiles from our little Carolina girl. Steven and I sang happy birthday to her and she LOVED it (as you can tell by the picture)! Kinley is such a wonderful baby and has such a happy countenance. She is VERY social and will easily crack a smile to whomever will talk to her. She likes to growl and try to talk which is hilarious to hear. She has also just found her feet this week. So fun!!!

After her birthday song, I was able to go on a nice road biking trip. It wasn't super long, but the temp was nice and it felt good do be doing some form of exercise. Steven and I are doing a "Mud Mania" race together in November, so we are trying to get somewhat in shape (at least, to finish the race)! I'm super excited to have some alone time with him, evening it is gettin' a little muddy together. Fun!

Went to Walmart to get some things for a party and Kailyn proceeded to tell me that I was "Madam Blueberry" (if you have children who love veggie tales, you will understand. If not, try to watch it on-line sometime). I must say that our cart was overflowing with groceries, which is funny because I only went in there for 5 things. Hmmm!

I had to go to a class tonight, so my wonderful husband had to hold down the troops on his own. About an hour before I was done, I got a text (with a picture) from Steven letting me know that Hunter (who is almost 6 yo) had just peed on Alton's bed (which I just washed Yesterday. Ugh! really?!?) because he didn't get to take a shower in our bathroom (he didn't get his way). I mean really! Where did he get this from? Whose kid is this. Oh, the challenges of parenting. Please, Heavenly Father, surround me with angels of patience for me on this one.!
