Here was the setup to drive everything up to camp. My new car pulling this super long (and full) trailer. My awesome husband drove this up there to the camp the day before. I was so grateful not to have the stress of pulling that with the girls inside. I heard it was pretty tough going up the hills to Flagstaff.
This was the main hang out place at camp. The YCL's had more fun decorating camp for the girls.
All suited up and ready to swing like monkeys.
Everything that you walked on moved and got higher and higher up in the trees. Wow!
This was a double tube thing that we had to crawl through. It was pretty tricky and smaller that it looks (at least once we got inside)!
These A-frames were pretty tricky.
This wall was steeper on one side than the other. Of course I had to try to harder one to prove I could do it. Smiles!
One of our cute girls coming in for a landing. She was actually too light to make it all the way up on speed alone, so she had to pull herself in.
Skateboarding! So crazy!
Angela Hansen, one of our fearless leaders.
Awesome leaders and girl posing high in the trees.
This was the second to last obstacle before the finish! Spider girl!It was soooooo fun!
Ella Thompson and her Dad almost near the finish.
This just shows you how high up in the trees we were. This is Amber, our fearless YW President.
The girls enjoyed the evening campfires.
Get to know each other games. Fun times!
We got the opportunity to do an awesome service project with the young women from Williams, AZ. We helped cut out blue jean patterns that were to be sent over to women in Uganda. These amazing women in Uganda make them into much needed shoes. Wow!
We took the girls hiking in the Lava Cave. It was a great adventure and provided a great lesson on light and darkness in our life.
