Wild, Wild West- Mar 12, 2013

During the kids' Spring Break we hit the zoos. First we headed out west (and I mean like an hour west from our house) to see some wild animals. They had white tigers and every other kind of exotic animal you could think of right there at your finger tips.  We really had a fun time and even saw some jets flying over head like the Blue Angels (the zoo was right near an base).  Pretty cool!
Lemur Island!
Feeding the fish (and ducks).
This was a cool up close encounter they had with the giraffes. You could go up the stairs and have them eat from your hands.  Pretty cool!
Wow, look at that tongue!
Hunter is in the red shirt looking at them in awe.
Alton and Kailyn join in.
Hunter took this picture!
Kailyn trying to pet one.
Gotta love Hunter's grumpy face as we wait for our train ride. Silly Hunter!
That's better!
Can you tell they are getting antsy?
This silly ostrich snuck out of the gate behind the train. Train driver had to figure out how to get 'em back in. The kids thought this was hilarious!
Kinley all smiles at the play set.
Kids are still fascinated with the train despite standing in the tortoise exhibit. Um, kids, there is a big turtle beside you and behind you!
