On our last full day in Utah, we headed up with the family into Big Cottonwood Canyon. They had just had several feet if snow a week or so before we arrived, so it was super fun. We parked our cars next to the Brighton Ski Resort and hiked around a lake. It was a beautiful day with a clear, blue ski and tons of snow. There was lots of snow throwing and laughter. Steven especially had fun trying out his winter clothing and getting really into the snowball fight with the kids. It was hilarious and fun to see him cut loose. After our hike & extreme playing, we had a yummy lunch at our cars before heading home. It was a fun time, except the part where the radiator hose popped off while heading up to the canyon, spraying coolant all over the engine, and causing smoke (LOTS of it) to billow out the hood. Just part of the adventure!
