Phoenix Children's Museum (6/20/13)

We set out on a new adventure today to see the Children's Museum of Phoenix. Kids have been begging me for weeks to go because they said they saw it on TV. Funny thing was, when we drove up to it today, I was actually intending to take them to the science center (just across the street and quite an amazing place). Anyhow, the kids said this was exactly where they were wanting to go and had a blast. We started on the top floor and
made our way down.
Hunter found this awesome motor bike.
Then Kailyn and Alton had to try out this cool racing go cart. Totally fits Alton's personality!
This fun toothpaste car was more Kailyn's personality (and color- pink)!

Then we found this room full of balls. We stayed here for quite a while and even Kinley got in on the action.
As you can see, she has finally started standing on her own, but not walking solo yet. Silly girl!

Then we found ourselves in the grocery store. First, Alton measured out some lentils to see how much they weighed .
Then, the shopping began. Hunter had a blast playing as their checkout man.
Waiting for the shoppers.
Now he's in business!

Once we were all shopped out, we went down a floor and found these cute, fun bicycles.
Go muscle Alton! Don't know how he did this. He is truly amazing!
Here comes the get along hang.
Going through the car wash.
Kinley gets in on the action. She was in heaven.
Sisters, sisters, we were never such devoted sisters! Love these girls soooo much.

Finally, we made it down to the first floor and the kids had a ball climbing in this huge play structure. Kailyn was determined that I was going to get her picture in the flying bathtub.

Kinley just enjoying herself.
Ballet anyone?
This was a cool air puzzle thing that would blow their colorful scarfs way up in the air.
Wow, how does it do that?
The secret air button.
This dragon's name was Rainbow. Kids couldn't wait to go climb on it (only to see the DO NOT CLIMB sign a little too late).

After our museum adventure, we headed over to a local city of Mesa pool to cool off. It was a fun, full day!
