Our sweet Kailyn just turned 5 yrs old! Still sounds strange to say it. She has just grown up so fast. She is a fun loving, energetic, creative, beautiful, smart, compassionate girl. We love her dearly and couldn't imagine life without her. Happy Birthday princess Kailyn!!
About her party, we had planned to hand a simple family party at Chuck E Cheese, but she begged and begged (the week before her birthday I might add) to have a party with some of her friends. She wanted to have a Tinkerbell party and play with water. First came the cake making saga. She picked out a Tinkerbell doll for the cake, but had to get creative in trying to figure out how to get her to stand up in the bundt cake. Ended up making to extra round cakes and using marshmallows to hold her up.

Friends: Lily, Kailyn, Olivia, Alissa, Saige, Bryn
Wasn't sure what it would turn out like until it was done. I think she really liked it.
Then we invited her friends over to our house and played "pin the wand on Tinkerbell.

Then it was piƱata time!

I party-goers.
Then it was outside for some water fun!

Well "hello" Mr. Water balloon toss.
Birthday jumps for Kailyn.

Then we had yummy pizza, cake, Popsicles, and opened presents. All in all it was a fun time!

Other fun birthday surprises included a new swimsuit and pj's from Grandma & Grandpa Mullin and a new (big) beach cruiser (given to us by one of my wish colleagues).
