Hunter got a special treat for his Birthday this year by getting to go on a trip with Steven. He and Steven flew out on the Thursday before his Birthday to head to Missouri.

He was super excited to fly on an airplane, see his cousins and spend one on one time with Steven. They landed super late and ended up staying the night at Steven's sister's house, Emily. The next day, they went to the children's museum in St. Louis. He got to spend some fun time with his Missouri cousins there.

When they walked out of the hotel, they saw some white. Hunter was very excited (and a little nervous apparently) to see "snow" (frost).

Hunter outside of the student center.Steven and Hunter boy!Steven thought it would be fun to show Hunter a little hiking spot near campus called Devil's Icebox. It is actually a cave. Once they got there, turns out it was blocked off because the bats were breeding. They still had fun exploring the area for a little bit and trying to stay warm.
That night, they headed to Moberly, Missouri to get ready for the musical that night. They got there early enough to explore the town Steven grew up in. This picture is the house that Steven lived in as a child.

The timing of this trip was aligned with the 20yr anniversary of the year that Steven was Professor Harold Hill in the Music Man. He had invited as many members from the cast 20 yrs ago to meet for dinner and then go to the musical. This is a picture of those who came.
