AZ Rain- June 5th

Today AZ set a record for first recorded rainfall on record for June 5th!  How cool!  While the boys were gone on play dates, is girls had fun playing in some of that good ole AZ rain.  I love the smell of desert rain. Ahhhh!  These pictures were taken just after a big downpour.

Kinley Standing under a "waterfall" coming off of one of ourneighbor's houses.  Hard to see the water falling on her, but only took her about 3 minutes to get this way.

Oh to be free like a child! Not a care in the world.  Trick was trying to get her home without soaking her car seat too much.  Love her free spirit!

Back at home, the girls got plastic toy boats and floated them down the "river". We live on a hill, so the water was going pretty fast making it all the more exciting.

Random cuteness:

This picture was taken the day before.  We had a lot of errands to do, so on our last stop all of the kids got to choose a treat at checkout.  When we got home and I went to get Kinley out of the car, this is what I found.  At least she enjoyed her treat!  Her and Kailyn had more fun wearing their princess outfits around town. Love these girls!

Back to the heat:

The day after the rain, we headed over to the bike park with the kids (after swimming of course).  Turns out we were the only ones there so we took advantage of it and hikes up to the black bike track.  This picture was at the top (Alton was hiding behind Hunter because he was so tired and not in the picture mood).  We walked down the track which was crazy hard (even walking it were slippery on some places). Don't know how people get brave enough to do as of the jumps on it.
