Skydiving Surprise (5/9/15)

Mother's Day Weekend was pretty fun & crazy. We started out watching a movie on the big screen Steven set up outside. The kids really enjoyed getting nestled in their warm blankets/pillows and eating popcorn on the trampoline while watching the movie.  Steven did an amazing job setting up the new screen and I'm sure we will have many fun memories with it.

The following morning, Saturday, Steven and I got the chance to go on an "exercise" date.  We rode the Usery Pass loop which is between 18-19 miles.  It felt good to be on the road bike again, but I could tell that I hadn't rode my bike in months (like at least 4 months)!

Afterwards, the boys had their soccer pictures and games.  Hunter has gotten quite good playing defense and Alton has found his sport. He has scored a goal (or two) at every game.  They are both pretty fun to watch and I love that it makes them so happy!

After soccer/naps, we headed ?.  Steven and the kids had asked me out on an early Mother's Day date earlier in the week.  It was all a surprise and turns out no one really knew what we were doing, except Steven.  He had told the kids all different stories, so in case they accidentally told me, it would actually be wrong.  Pretty smart thinking on his part. He even printed off directions to the Tuscon botanical gardens to try and throw me off some more.  Anyhow, all I could tell us that we were heading toward Tuscon.  Well, here is where we ended up at.
Indoor skydiving in Eloy, AZ!!!!!
We had talked about this months ago, but let it go because it was kind of pricey and we got busy with other stuff.
Waiting our turn before getting suited up.
Watching a skydiving team practice in the tunnel before our turn. They were pretty good!
Kailyn, all suited up and ready to fly!
Little Kinley even got to fly.  You have to be three yrs old (and she was almost there- 1 more week until her big day)!
Superboy Hunter!
Alton, with the look of, "I'm not sure about this, you crazy parents"!
Family of skydivers!!! (Keri, Kinley (2 yo), Kailyn (6 yo), Hunter (8 yo), Alton (5 yo), Steven)
Nervous energy and study.
Kailyn was ready to fly like Dumbo the elephant.
Kinley practicing her flying position.
Flying elephant girl.

Alton, showing us how it is done.
Me (trying to smile so too much slobber wouldn't fly out of my mouth. Awesome!).  This was the coolest feeling to just float on air!
Kinley, giving it a chance. She wasn't a big fan of it the first time (mainly because of the glasses and helmet), but her second time around, she was a champ.
Off she goes. They let me come in the tunnel with her and hold her hands.  She was so brave! I hope she knew what kind of a family she was being born into before she came to us. Smiles!
Alton was fun to watch. He was like, "I'm just chillin' here in mid air". Totally keeping his cool on!  The instructors would flip the kids over and here was Alton just hanging with whatever happens to him. Funny kid.

Kailyn in mid flight.
Kailyn, the flying elephant!
Hunter
Mr. Incredible, Hunter!
Best husband EVER, Steven!
Wow, that's one awesome hairdo babe!
Steven, our lead instructor (from Italy with a fun accent), Alton, and our assistant instructor.  They were amazing with the kids!
Yummy dinner/slushy afterwards at Eegee's! Cool shades Kinley got with her kid meal.
