For my birthday, Steven surprised me with an amazing surprise party and then asked me to go whale watching (with the family) in San Diego. How fun! I was sooooo excited and couldn't wait to put my feet in the sand.

This is a picture of the aircraft carrier docked there at our whale watching dock. The boys especially were in heaven.

Spotting of our first whale.

You can kind of see her back (the dark spot in the water).

Hunter having a blast on the beach at La Jolla shores.

Altonator playing in the cold sand.

Cold Kailyn!

Sea lion on top of it's perch.

At the tide pools. Very cool!

Loved seeing these waves come crashing in.

Giant sea slug Steven found in the tide pools.

Our tent set up. Kinley trying to figure out how to bury Hunter more in the sand. The sand was a lot colder than we thought it would be, but still a blast to be there and hear the ocean sounds.

Happy Alton!

Princess Kailyn.

Climbing the cool looking trees.

They look like best friends.

Gotta love her faces.

Hunter sure loves this little girl.

Alton wanted his picture taken on his very own cool tree branch. Love the hair! No, that is not the breeze. It's his bed head hair that he wouldn't let us touch. He is such a funny kid!

Pregnant sea lions took over the children's play lagoon. They are supposed to start having their babies in February. What a life!

Hunter showing Kinley how to chase the seagulls.

Kinley cackled the entire time. She thought is was so funny!

Random morning picture of this sweet little girl.

She is about 21 months and loves to put on everyone's shoes. This morning it was Hunter's boots.

Last week, the kids and I rode a bike over to feed the ducks. Kinley loved seeing the ducks, but was more interested in eating the bread. Alton had a blast and I got some good exercise biking these kids up and down the hills around our home.
